The Naturepedic Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector Pad features two layers of organic cotton flannel - the top and bottom. It is highly absorptive and extra soft, reduces uneven temperatures, sweating and clamminess.  The ultra thin waterproof membrane in the center features drysleep technology, which effectively blocks liquids from passing through while still allowing the fabric to "breathe."  Some water vapor is allowed to escape resulting in less "sweaty backs" and drier, more comfortable sleep for baby.  Also, blocks dust mites and other allergens.  This waterproof pad has no vinyl or PVC, no phthalates and no latex to eliminate any allergy concerns.
